They are know to be the GUARDIAN SPIRIT of Mankind. A zealous advocate created by the ALMIGHTY to protect from foe and can spread their wings to fly anywhere they desire. They possesed wisdom and ulter useful thoughts that is goodwill to man. In IRC Indernet #BAGWIS we've got ANGELS too. They are considered to be friendly, lovable, vigorous and witty individual. A warm greetings is to be vocalized by the members upon entering the channel but sometimes ignored...due to mack mode or surfing somewhere in the web. In this case is exceptional, but the most important thing is they welcome you with a big hug and a warm smile to this clean and friendly channel. They love to exchange ideas and opinions to everyone especially if the person is manifesting enthusiasm. The conversation is casual, a friendly Hello, ASL, brb, WB, gtg and Goodbye are some of the common words to be mentioned...but don't forget to reply, because it illuminates the spirit. They have wings and capable to flutter to every individual out of the channel if someone tried to spoil it. They are considered to be a highly tempered chatters but a stubbom insult and humiliation can outburst at times.
Bagwis Angels are fancy and sometimes corny. They utter phrases that indulge your importance, with a friendly caress that culminate sweetness. The gift of love that brings them up are patience and understanding. After all enjoy their company and they will fly you around the place called...HUMANITY!

     First of all they ask me why BAGWIS for a channel name...I used this BAGWIS name 'coz it has the deeper meaning of a noun - WINGS and a verb - STRENGTH. And these two characteristics that we should have in LIFE...The WINGS to fly to our VISION and the STRENGTH to go and follow it.
     We opened the channel early last January 1998 with the help of some loving and interesting people namely: cyberj, liezel, hanne, souls (now better known as Simplebooy), babes, sha, duna_m, dudette_^, Alexza, and Dukeheart. These are the people responsible and assisted in the founding this Clean and Friendly Channel. Although some of them are really busy with their job for a living and school task, they are still helping to establish the channel. Another batch was born and uplifted the morale to keep the channel alive. The co-founders who continue supporting and maintaining the warm atmosphere in the channel are known to be sajji, juice, cloretz, cross, Arl, LrdShaper, Pards, jigo, chubs, broas, and AD@MZ. My Gratitude and Appreciation to you guys.
     On FEBRUARY 8. 1998 the undernet.org granted permission and given us @W to be the Official Channel Bot. Thanks to the Undernet.org Staff.
     Since then we have maintained Channel BAGWIS as Clean and Friendly especially made for those people who likes to chat by exchanging their views and ideas, gaining new friends and to be constructive to others. NOW! we are proud to say that this channel became a fast growing in number of chatters and a HAVEN for an ANGEL to Stay.

CHANNEL BAGWIS GUIDELINES FOR OPs
12-13-99 revised Dec 99

OPs must login to @W at least once a week. (OPs who does not log to @W for 30 days will be automatically delete his/her access).
OPs must logon to @W if no OP was found when entering the channel.
(This will avoid a channel takeover in case @W will be disconnected from the
UNDERNET).
OPs must maintain the channel CLEAN and FRIENDLY atmosphere at all times or as the case maybe. Eventually, invite others to join us chatting.
OPs must help and promote the Channel Homepage to grow (this case http://welcome.to/bagwis). Encourage others to visit the website and sign-up for membership.
OPs must NOT ABUSE the power of being an OP. Dont allow others to start violence that can cause in war modes. Give warning to someone
violating the channel RULES first. REMEMBER our channel is a CLEAN AND FRIENDLY channel. If somebody insisting, or ignore the warning of the OP thus the ppl continue of being rude or even harassing, then disciplinary action must be given: kick or even ban from the channel.
OPs must attend every official EB (eyeball meeting) of the channel in
which the event is to be initiated by the assigned Channel Coordinator and
acknowledge by the Channel Manager. The EB will be held once a month. This
activity will foster camaraderie and promote cohesiveness among members
and its govern institution.
OPs with level 400 and above are the only one (1) authorized to give
access to a chatter. (If an OP of this level is planning to give access to anybody, he/she must put + sign before his/her nick for at least a month, so that the other OPs will know that the person is a candidate for being an OP). Please make sure that other OPs gives their approval before giving out the access. if any OP opposed. the candidate wont get to be OPed.
OPs with level 450 and above is the only one (1) that can upgrade or degrade the level of an OP. (But this must be proven by the other OPs).
Please DON'T UNBAN the nick in the banlist especially if you are not the one who banned the person... (if it is a friend of yours who was banned from the channel, kindly ask the OP who banned him/her to unban it for you. In this case we will prevent anyone from further mis-understanding.)
Any OP who violates this guidelines will be degraded or even be stripped of his/her access. So pls do follow all these guideline!!
Always remember that the access was given to be an OP, then this is your PRIVILEDGE and not a RIGHTS!! (the CHANNEL MANAGER and Trusted Channel Administrator has the discretion to take it away from you ANYTIME.)
Script Usage: Only OP's with level 400 and above are allowed to use MIRC Scripts with auto kick. Anyone lower than 400 pls turn off your scripts. And if u are gonna use scripts pls set it to moderate mode. Meaning that it doesn't kick someone automatically. Some chatters get kicked for no particular reason because of the script sometimes they are misunderstood and this will cause ppl to leave the channel.
NOTE: when you have any problem with other OPs let the Channel Manager or Administration Staff knows about it so that the problem will be given solution appropriately. OPs who oppose the candidate to be given an access to be an OP or any questions, suggestion or comment regarding the channel or website
